Members of have the opportunity to further deepen their understanding of the science of consciousness, Maharishi Vedic Science, by enrolling as a student at Maharishi University of Enlightenment (MUE).

MUE offers degree programs at the Bachelors, Masters, and PhD levels, as well as continuing and distance education courses. The Consciousness-BasedSM curriculum, environment, and routine of MUE are designed to maximize students' growth towards enlightenment.

Through daily extended practice of the Transcendental Meditation® and TM-Sidhi® programs, including Yogic Flying®, students awaken the fine fibers of their own inner consciousness. They discover that the field of pure consciousness, the home of all the laws of nature—total knowledge of natural law—is in their own Self as the unity that underlies and gives rise to all diverse knowledge. Students integrate this experience and understanding of consciousness with courses that explore the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.

The practical benefit of this approach can be seen in how effortlessly and enthusiastically students grasp the concepts of any academic discipline, and from the inner happiness they radiate as they grow in higher states of consciousness. Maharishi University of Enlightenment makes all knowledge relevant by connecting it to the experience of pure Being—the student’s own Self.
